It is incredible to think that a single piece of clothing could take such an extended amount of time to create and that this same garment holds a deeply meaningful story within its fibers. So much thought, passion and love was put into the creation of this huipil and in its finished state it is so much more than a shirt. It is an embodiment of culture, family, struggles and triumphs. It represents courage to defy the norms and pursue your dreams. It is a metaphor for how we 
should live our lives – with passion, without fear and filled with meaning.
