Talavera is an iconic and traditional Mexican technique dating back to the 16th century. Only natural clays are used, rather than chemically treated and dyed clays and the handcrafting process takes three to four months. This lengthy process is inherently risky because the piece could break at any point during production, making Talavera more costly than many other types of pottery. As a result, Mexican Talavera artisans have been under pressure from imitations, commonly from China. All our authentic Talavera pottery is entirely handcrafted and hand painted in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. We offer a wide range of sizes, styles and designs. Make a statement in your home, garden or patio with these pieces!
Shortly after the birth of our beautiful daughter Autumn, we realized that we needed a lifestyle change. It was no longer just the two of us, our family had expanded and our priorities needed a reshuffle. We wanted to create an environment where she could grow up surrounded by unconditional and constant love from the both of us.
