Mexican Clay Bean Pot – Frijolera

These Mexican clay bean pots (ollas de barro) are used to cook beans, soups, stews and coffee. They will enhance the flavor of your food and also offer a beautiful and authentic touch to your table and kitchen décor. The pot gets slightly wider towards the bottom allowing the beans (frijoles) to cook perfectly. The detailed floral designs are hand painted onto the terracotta colored clay resulting in a whimsical yet rustic finish.

These bean pots can be used on a gas or electric range, with an open flame and on induction cooktops with the use of an induction cookware interface disk.

You’ve never had Mexican beans until you’ve had them from a frijolera!

Please note that due to the handmade nature of these pieces there may be slight imperfections or inconsistencies adding some authentic charm!
